THE INTERNATIONAL FOOD RESEARCH COLLABORATION
The International Food Research Collaboration (IFRC) recognizes that food research is not well linked globally primarily due to the lack of a coordinating organization. IFRC has a mission of advancing food research by establishing and strengthening international linkages and collaborations that allow us to build on individual strengths and capacities in a synergistic manner.
IFRC is dedicated to improving health and wellness through food research and knowledge transfer, either through policy/regulatory reform or targeted products/technologies. We have adopted a "farm to fork" approach that recognizes that citizen/consumer attitudes and interests influence food production. Finally, we are committed to continued dialogue and involvement with industry, government and the public.
The IFRC is an international research consortium focused on facilitating and executing research underpinning food in order to generate opportunities for collaborative research, knowledge exchange and training among partnering nations, institutions and researchers.
